All participants must be 18 years of age and have a valid state issued driver’s license. ENTRY FEES & REGISTRATION$150.00 – Full Day Entry (Pre Registration & Walk In)$90.00 – Half Day Entry (Walk In Only, based on availability) Entry fee includes one (1) car, one (1) driver, and three (3) crew members. Additional crew members, guests, and spectators may purchase admission at the gate for $7.00 per adult, $3.00 per child (6-12), and children 5 & under are free. Pre register for all eight (8) dates and receive a $200.00 discount – only $1,000.00 for eight (8) full day entries. Full Day – Schedule for five (5) 20 minute on-track sessions. Half Day - Schedule for three (3) 20 minute on-track sessions. Half day walk in entries will only be accepted if there are less than one hundred (100) full day entries. Gates will open for Half Day entries at 12:30 pm if available. No refunds or exchanges will be given. If an event is cancelled due to weather, rain checks will be issued and will be valid on the rescheduled event day. All cancelled events will be rescheduled. The attached Registration Form must be completed and returned with the entry fee to the track to register for any event date. Registrations are considered complete only when the Registration Form and entry fee are received by the track. All entries must be type written or clearly printed. Illegible forms may be returned. Pre registrations will be accepted for any event. You may pre register for the events all at once or individually. Entries will be registered on a first come first serve basis based on the date registration and entry fee are received by track. A waiting list will be created once one hundred (100) pre registered entries are received. All participants, crew members, guests and spectators must sign a Release of Liability Waiver prior to entering the track. Track will provide adequate Emergency Services personnel, including ALS Ambulance and Fire/Rescue units, as well as corner workers for each event day. TECH & SAFETY INSPECTIONSIt is the participant’s responsibility to make sure their car is ready for the track. Prior to bringing a car to the track for an open test session, all participants must complete a mechanical self tech of their car. This self tech must be documented on the attached Self Tech Inspection Form and turned into the track during the registration period on each event day.Participant understands the Self Tech Inspection serves to prove adequate prep has been performed and is in no way a complete list of prep items. Participant is solely responsible for vehicles mechanical condition and Memphis Motorsports Park does not perform any mechanical technical inspection to verify the items listed on the inspection form. If any registered car is found to be not prepped in accordance to the self tech form, Memphis Motorsports Park has the sole right to make notice to participant to make acceptable or to be removed from any registration for participation in any event. Memphis Motorsports Park also makes no claim that any vehicle prepped in accordance of the inspection form is deemed safe for high speed driving or competition. No participant will be issued a colored run group decal or wristband until track has received a signed Self Tech Inspection Form. In addition to the mechanical self tech each participant must complete prior to bringing a car to the track, Memphis Motorsports Park Emergency Services may perform a basis safety inspection of the car and the driver’s safety equipment on the event day. This safety inspection will be done in the paddock at each car’s pit. RACING FUELMemphis Motorsports Park offers onsite racing fuel at the Fuel Station, located north of the Paddock. Track-proven racing fuels are designed to provide exceptional performance, quality and consistency.1. The Fuel Station will be open at two designated times during each test session event.

Please contact Ovations directly at 901.354.9000 for catering menus or more information on catering. ROAD RACING SAFETY EQUIPMENTIt is important that all road racing events be safe and fun for all. A new local racer’s supply shop, Racing Eclipse, has been organized by Carl Edwards/RE Technologies Racing. Racing Eclipse is the Mid-South’s only authorized supplier of the popular HANS device. Not only can you purchase your HANS device from Racing Eclipse, but they will custom fit the device to your helmet. Racing Eclipse is your local source for helmets, gloves, shoes, and fire resistant clothing. In addition, Racing Eclipse provides race car prep, scaling & setup, and tire mounting/balancing. For those needing mechanical work, the Carl Edwards/RE Technologies race shop has a complete fabrication area. 2. Safety should be your number one priority while on the track. 3. Paddock speed limit is 10 MPH. No exceptions. 4. All persons entering the track must sign a Release of Liability waiver. 5. All participants must complete and turn in a Medical Information Form prior to participating in their first event. 6. The registration building is located in the paddock next to the main concession stand. All Self Tech Forms and Medical Information Forms should be turned in at the registration building each event day. 7. Test sessions are open to experienced road course drivers only. 8. No passengers/riders will be permitted with any participant ay any time. No exceptions. 9. All participants must attend the mandatory Driver’s Meeting each event day prior to being permitted to take the track. 10. Participants should keep track of time throughout the day and be ready when called for their run group. 11. All hot pit and grid crew must be at least 18 years of age. 12. The first lap will be under Yellow flag conditions. Please take time to locate the corner stations and corner workers. 13. Track gates will close prior to track going hot and shall remain closed until the track goes cold at the designated time. No vehicular traffic will be permitted through the track gates while the track is hot. 14. No alcohol or controlled substances may be consumed by any participant during the hours of the event. 15. No medications that may impair a participant’s ability to operate their car may be consumed prior to or during the hours of the event. 16. Track is not responsible for lost or stolen items. All persons entering Memphis Motorsports Park must observe the following gate policies. 1. Participants may not enter the track with any of the following items:
• Liquor or wine • Skateboards, roller blades or bicycles • Knives or weapons of any kind • Fireworks • Ladders, step stools or portable platforms • Pets (except service animals assisting those with disabilities) • Any other item we determined to be a safety or health risk
• Fireworks • Ground Fires
2. Track will not provide any official lap times during test sessions. 3. There shall be no contact between cars ay any time. 4. Do not tailgate another car. 5. Do not group together on the track. 6. Do not block faster cars that are closing on you. 7. Watch your mirrors, as you must signal faster cars by you. 8. If you suspect serious mechanical problems while on the track, pull off the track slowly and await assistance. If you can continue, do so slowly and return to the pit area. Get off line and use hand signals and flashers to indicate that you have a problem while returning to the pits. 9. If it starts to rain, slow down to a speed below that at which you know you can drive safely in the wet. The sessions will continue in the rain unless the track becomes unsafe to continue. 10. If you spin, run off track, or make contact with another car, you must report to the pits prior to continuing the session.
2. Passes on the straightaway must be made on the driver’s right only. 3. Passes between turns 4 & 5 must be made before the 90’s and on the driver’s left only. 4. There shall be no passing at any other point on the track. 5. There shall be no passing during red flag conditions. 6. There shall be no passing under yellow flag conditions, except for slow moving vehicles whose driver’s have signaled that their car is disabled. 7. All passing in the two designated areas shall be with the use of hand signals to direct the passing car safely around the car being passed. 8. Do not move off line when being passed. 9. Be sure that you have plenty of time, space and horsepower to complete your maneuver. 10. Do not try to out horsepower an overtaking car, allow them to pass safely. 11. Failure to comply with the passing rules will result in you being black-flagged for that session.
2. On the first incident, the participant will be black-flagged (see Flags) to come into the pits. In the pits, the participant will be counseled and advised that should this happen again the participant will be brought off the track and not allowed to drive for the remainder of the day. 3. If any participant spins their car or leaves the track with all 4 wheels two times in one event day, they will be required to leave for the day on the second incident.
2. All participants will be liable for any damages caused to any personal or real property. 3. Any repairs to the track necessary due to damages caused by a participant are the responsibility of that participant. This includes, but is not limited to, damages to guardrail, barrier walls, asphalt or concrete surfaces, grandstands, fencing, buildings, and portable toilets.
• Goggles or full face helmet for open top cars • Closed toe rubber soled shoes • Long sleeve shirt (non-synthetic fiber) • Long pants (non-synthetic fiber) • Alternatively, approved driver’s suit and racing shoes 3. A mounted fire extinguisher is recommended for all cars. 4. All cars must run with the driver’s and passenger windows down. 5. All open top cars must have roll bar/cage as roll over protection. 6. All participants with open top cars must use arm restraints. 7. Interior of vehicle must be clean and cleared of all loose items, debris and floormats.
2. All persons operating a motorized auxiliary vehicle, including 2, 3, & 4 wheel ATV’s and scooters, must be at least 16 years of age and possess a valid state driver’s license. 3. Skateboards, roller blades, and bicycles are prohibited in the paddock area. 4. Do not drive stakes into the ground in the paddock. 5. Participants must remove all tires from the track. Failure to remove tires from the track will result in increased entry fees for future events. 6. Electrical power is not available unless arrangements are made with the track prior to an event day. Do not hook up to electrical outlets without the approval of the track. 7. Water is available next to the registration building. Do not connect hoses to the faucets. Use water only as necessary and be considerate of the other participant’s pits, as drainage is problematic. 8. There are no camping hooks up’s available at the track. However, overnight parking for self contained motorhomes and haulers will be permitted in the pits if test session event is one day prior to another road course event. Staging for the next run group to go on the track will be behind the Hot Pit wall at the north end between the bleachers and the hot pit wall. All other cars will be on the track or in the paddock. Entering the Track Pull your car up to the north end of pit lane. Follow the instructions of the Pit Marshall and stay to the right of the track as you accelerate up to speed. Use your mirrors to see if you are being overtaken before you attempt to leave the right lane. Exiting the Track Track exit during a session is from Grant’s Tomb on driver’s right to the hot pit. When you want to exit from the track into the pit lane, extend your left arm upward, out of the window, in a fist, prior to your exit from the track. Track exit after a session is after the carousel at turn 3. Keep right and extend your left arm upward, out of the window, in a fist, prior to your exit from the track. Proceed down the access road past the scales and fuel pumps to the paddock. Flags
• YELLOW - A standing yellow flag indicates trouble on the course ahead (a car off the road, debris on the track, etc.) Reduce speed and take caution. A waving yellow flag indicates imminent danger ahead. Proceed with extreme caution at greatly reduced speed and be prepared to stop. Under no circumstances is there to be any passing or overtaking during a yellow flag situation. • GREEN - The green flag indicates the course is clear, if no flag is displayed you may assume it is a green flag condition. • CHECKERED - The checkered flag indicates the end of the session. It will be displayed only at the Start/Finish line. After passing the Start/Finish line and observing the checkered flag, do not brake immediately. Reduce speed and complete one cool down lap at moderate speed and exit the track onto pit lane. • BLUE WITH YELLOW DIAGONAL - Passing flag (Advisory). A faster car is attempting to pass. See passing rules. • RED AND YELLOW - Debris flag (Advisory). Slippery track conditions exist. Possibly oil, sand, dirt, fluids or debris (car parts). Proceed with caution. • WHITE – Caution advisory. Emergency vehicle or a slow-moving vehicle on track ahead. • BLACK FLAG - The black flag is used as a warning to a particular driver or to bring the complete session to the pits for a conference. When used to warn a particular driver, the flag man on the Start/Finish line or at a Black Flag Station will point the Black Flag to the car being flagged as it passes the station. In addition, the car # may be displayed at the Black Flag Station. The driver should acknowledge the Black Flag with a hand signal and proceed at reduced speed, with caution, to the pits where he will report to the Pit Marshal. The Black Flag may indicate either mechanical trouble or incorrect driving behavior. When used to bring all cars to the pits; it will be displayed in the standing position at the Start/Finish line and at the Black Flag Station (Should the track have one) and may be displayed with a sign ALL. All cars will proceed at a reduced speed to the pits and follow the instructions of the Pit Marshall. 2. Extreme carelessness, unsafe behavior, or failure to respond to a Black Flag signal may result in expulsion from the event. 3. If you are black-flagged 2 times in one day, you will be asked to excuse yourself from the remainder of the event.
